And if you don't mind, there is a Tibetan lantern store on Yan dai xie jie, ( Hou hai area ), where you can find lots of nice Tibetan style lanterns.

Searched many sites but they only sell silk or plastic ones.
I got some at taobao, go there and have a try, don't know if they are what you want.

Also in some grocery markets may have it, especially near Spring Festival comes, not sure they sell it now.
