Visa stuff during 10/1 holiday - offices open?

Hello,

I've gotten my Z Visa and the next step is the "Alien Employment Permit". That's right before the Residence Permit, I think.

Any chance I'll be able to begin processing that next week? I'm not sure which office it is yet; maybe it'll be open somedays next week?

the offices will likely be closed for a week beginning Monday.

The public National holiday is from Sep. 29 (Monday) to Oct. 5, 2008.

I have a related question, I got a L visa extension on Friday and completely forgot to go to get an new temp permit, is it open sunday, monday? Do i get lashings for forgetting or should it slip under radar?

I think it's a thousand cuts. Sunday is 28th, so should be OK. You'll pass the radar test, but the thousands of CCTV camera's will get you!
