reliable pet relocation agent?

hi,
does any one know any good and reliable pet relocation agent in beijing? i will be flying with my dog from the new york to beijing. i need an agent to avoid the 30 days quarantine.
any good suggestions?
also, does any one know which airlines would allow pet in cabin for the US - Beijing flight?

As far as I know no US carrier will allow in cabin pets for international flights.
I used Sino Santa Fe relocation company and I think they did an OK job. Its like $1000 per pet, they basically "talk" the animal out of quarantine.
I'm not going to lie, its expensive and hassled (as is most things in Beijing), but I needed my pets so you just deal with it.

so at the end i sneaked my dog into china without a relocation agency. cause she was small enough to go through customs without any noticing! lucky us! but i would definitely not advise others to take the same risk!

I once had ENORMOUS trouble entering china with my pet.
They wanted to leave him in the airport.
I said 'no way, who's gonna take care of him?'
They said 'oh no problem, here we like dogs'
WTF???

Was this to bring the animals into China or back to your home country? I'm looking at moving my cats, (which we got in China), to Hong Kong or Singapore, and was told that in Hong Kong they would need to stay in quarantine for a minimum of 4 months, at my expense, and would need to get certified shots and a microchip implant. I talked to a pet relocation company, and they wouldn't even give me a ballpark figure on how much that would cost after a week of back and forth emails. Does anyone know of a vet that would be even be certified to do something like that in Beijing? Has anyone taken pets from the mainland to Hong Kong, and if so, approximately what did it cost?

With the economy these days a lot of budget pet owners looking now to buy a cheap pet insurance. This is a good way to show your pet how much you love should not be hard for you.

A couple friends just took their dog and cat to Hong Kong from here. The dog and cat had to be quarantined for 4 months but they could visit. It was about HK90 per day for the dog and maybe HK50 per day for the cat. They used ICVS who were really helpful with detailed information about taking the pets to Hong Kong. They didn't use a relocation company. They did it all themselves.
They had to ship the dog and cat as live cargo so between the cargo and the quarantine for 4 months, it cost them a bit of money but still less than using a relocation company.
