Beijing salsa scene
are there any good salsa places in beijing where you can get to dance even if you are new to the scene? I can undertand that there are salsa snobs out there who wont dance with someone unless they know that the person is good too, c'mon beijing, have an open mind. you wont know unless you try, right? i'm really not up for going to a salsa club where i can just watch the good dancers and end up dancing with old ugly chinese men. I'm not pro or anything, but all my salsa students back in Toronto seem to enjoy my classes and my performance group seems to be doing ok back home. How come it's so hard to get dancin here in Beijing? any advise??

You have salsa students and a performance group, and it's hard for you to get dancing here?

Hi ,
totally understand what you saying .
Truth be told I have always wanted to learn to dance Salsa , just really been a bit shy or never really had the time to follow it up. well maybe had the time, but didnt really follow it up.
I would definitely like to learn a bit more.
Im not sure how good you are, but I would like to give it a try, once or twice a week, if you have the time.
Best
