Bobby it goes both ways. The people of Taiwan found the main landers to be rude and ill mannered. Who can tell which one is correct. You are talking about 3 different countries with 3 different opinions of how people should be and how things should look.

I basically have no problem with people from these three countries.

I guess I like the Japanese best, maybe because of their powerful culture, great combination between west and east.

Well, Korean is cool too, but somehow, from my personal experience, they are kind of cry-loving sometimes. Like it's not hard to find a korean GUY cry in the street of wudaokou. And also you maybe have many korean folks around you keep reminding you things they invented, discovered or those which they thought they did.

Taiwanese guy is fine, combination of Chinese and Japanese, culture wise, just...their zhongguo hua accent are always kind of sissy to me, so do the FuJian people. Especially when you talk to a man. Maybe I am just not used to it, since I am from the Northern China, who knows. ^^

i apologize if i offend anyone, but i have been here in china a year. at first, i was really pro-china (for about 9 months). horrible events like nanjing massacre, opium wars, global oppression, attempts to recover from a crippling communist party rule, wealth desparity, hardworking people from small villages.

but now i just see a lot of ugly all around beijing.

passive aggressive nature, talking behind people backs, talking under their breath, the tsk when something doesn't go their way. f***! if you have a problem with me, say it standing in my face.. right?

i dont know how many times im walking on the sidewalk and some guy veers towards me just to bump shoulders (and i'm minding my own business). i turn around to see if he's walking towards something that would make him go in this direction.. nope. is it just to bump into me?

my experience is that the guys are pussies, they'll talk sh*t under their breath, but will never confront you in your face.

the girls are even worse: i hear theyre super bitchy, they will get in your face and talk sh*t, but thats only because they know that the law will protect them if you lay a hand on them. which is cowardess of another kind.

i wouldn't mind someone changing my viewpoint back to how it was when i first got here. again, this is me venting.. im not trying to offend.

i was utterly disappointed

it looked like a former garnison town with a dash of gloom
