Butterfish/White Tuna - Beware

Now I'm laughing. It wasn't so funny that twice in the last two weeks I have been firing orange oil out of my ass uncontrolably. I thought I was dying, my liver and or pancreas had collapsed after several years on the booze and smokes.

Turns out it's the fish at the new restaurant I love so much.

I found this article to explain my symptoms, also makes for for an amusing story.

It wasn't so funny for two pairs of destroyed trousers and the poor taxi driver whose seat is now covered in ass-oil. I think he was so astonished that a laowei could have shat on his taxi seat that he didn't come after me for compensation as I hobbled away with a large orange stain on the seat of my pants.

I'm thinking now of selling my stools to Chevron next time I eat some butterfish or white tuna.

beware of all tuna in china. just a few years ago a south korean diplomat died in beijing after having eaten a tuna sandwich in sanlitun.

as for shitting yourself in a taxi, you weren't the first laowai to do that

What I enjoyed most about the article was the reference to olestra and the fond memories of being able to purchase a bag of chips that came with a warning "this product may cause anal leakage" a priceless moment in modern day food production.
Sorry about your trousers, but laughed about the taxi. I will be cautious of orange stained seat covers.

Wow, maybe he should mix butterfish with some spicy street chuan. An oily orange flaming jet d'eau might be just the ticket to repel boarders on those nights you decide to pop in to SLT or 5DK for a nightcap.

I thought it was a funky IV that did that SK diplomat in?

Recently I ate some Taiwan Style sausages that I bought from the DIA supermarket chain. I ended up giving my bed an ass oiling in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. I washed the sheets three times but they still have that orange stain. I've been food poisoned three times this year! Watch out what you eat here folks.
