Ayi needed in the CBD area

Hello Everyone,
Does anyone know of a good Ayi in the CBD area. I checked out a bunch of website's but they are all agencies and charge a fee.
Is that the only way it works?? Can't i get an ayi directly - without having to pay a middleman. It will help if she knows basic english, but if she doesnt that ok too.
Any kind of info will be greatly appreciated.

Is this now a "new way" of personal add?
Or I'm sitting on the wrong horse, don't expect that the "typical" Chinese Ayis are waiting online to get a job? Even, after not posting a single post in this forum after registering more than two years back?
Today evening, I have to ask my Ayi her opinions about the recent posts in TheBeijinger, maybe she is having some good "alias"!

For domestic helper, I believe VeryMaids. A customer service man or woman will go to visit the my home and make the file after a look-around of all important facilities, conversation with key members of the my family and calculating how long the domestic helper will need according to the utilization area of the my house or apartment. After the customer service man or woman comes back, the file will be adjusted and then sent to me and the domestice helper for recognization.VeryMaids is perfect!
