I'm not particularly religious but I loved the tradition of advent calendars when I was young. I'd love to get one for my kid (preferably not an overly religious one).
Anyone see any for sale in Beijing?

We're due to add some shortly on www.beijinghomedelivery.com. It'll be in a new Christmas Category by Thursday next week.

thanks for that but what i'm looking for is not a regular calendar but an "advent calendar" which is is calendar that is used only during the month of december, essentially counting down the days till Christmas.
The one that I remember having when I was a kid had little chocolates behind the numbers that you'd open each day.

They were selling the chocolate ones at April Gourmet in Xing-fu-cun (can't spell it normally without alarming the bad word filter!) two weeks ago.

I saw a single, lonely looking advent calendar at the Friendship store on SLT North. Get 'em while they're hot!

I saw the one coeurdelion mentioned at April Gourmets just the other day (3-4 days ago).
It's not overly religious at all and appears to contain milk chocolate candies

OK, sorry for digging out this topic again, but are there more places for this stuff now? And does anyone know if April Gourmets still carries them? They're not around the corner for me, so I don't wanna make that journey for nothing.
