Any ceramicists / potters out there?

I'm looking for someone to teach me how to make pottery, or a group class if these exist anywhere. I'm a complete beginner, so it would just be very simple techniques at first. I've asked around at places like Spin but I'm just told to go to Jingdezhen... not really an option at the moment! I'm willing to pay. Someone who speaks English would be an advantage, but I could probably get by in Chinese.

If you are just a beginner, and just want to learn the basic stuff, you can go to some DIY classes like these ones:

They provide training classes. But I don't think they speak good English.

i called the first one mentioned by Lodgerly today cos my friends and i also thinking of going. they can give a 60% discount if u have 10 ppl together. even if u r by urself u can ask for discount,dont think they have lots of busniess.
