i am not comparing russian girls to dog meat in any way, but on the "where can i find a dog meat restaurant?" post everyone has an opinion about whether you should or shouldn't eat dog meat, but no one can actually tell you where you can eat it.

Russian and other Soviet Block countries tend to have higher rates of women who'll marry someone and then take off after a green card is granted. I know too many friends who learned this lesson the hard way. The Department of Immigration and Naturalization GRILLS the hell out of former Soviet women with various " I know my spouse" quizzes (which they don't do to most other nationalities) for a reason! Recently 20/20 profiled a whole network Russian speaking lawyers in NY, SF, and LA who specialize in in advising and establishing permanent residency status for women who found their way to meeting a US citizens. In some cases these lawyers attempt to sell these women off into white slavery if they cannot afford to pay their legal fees (the "lawyers" aren't real attorneys, just Russian mobs guys). I wish you the best of luck with your wife. I am willing to bet if she doesn't take off in 5 years you'll wish she did (she has to live IN the USA or EUROPE to establish residency- marrying a foreigner doesn't grant your citizenship or a green card right away).
