Beijing North International Shooting Range

Does anyone have any recent information on this place?

Like how much is the ammunition? Especially, how much is the 9mm and .45 ammo? Or do you pay per round for the gun rather than the ammo?

Lst time I was there is was 20 yuan per 5.56mm cartridge in the Steyr AUG, and 10 yuan per 5.8mm cartridge in the QBZ-95.

Does the Chinese sniper rifle shoot the 5.8mm?

It's open all year, right? Anyone have a complete list of what you can shoot?

Re: Beijing North International Shooting Range

From their website:

手 枪: 3-20元/每发
Handgun: 3-20/ bullet
步 枪: 4-35元/每发
Rifle: 4-35/ bullet
猎 枪: 8元/每发
Shotgun: 8/ bullet
匹特博: 80元/每人30发
Paintball: 80/ per person

It's paid per round, open all year, from 8:30-16:30.

But I really don't know much about those bullets. Why don't you call them and ask about the details?

Here is another thread talking about the same place:

Re: Beijing North International Shooting Range

Thanks lodgerly. I can't read Chinese so I'm unable to make heads or tails of that website.

I've been once before, so I know what the facility is like. I'm not as concerned about distances as the people in that other thread.

I'm going to try to head up there in the next few days and shoot something cheap and make a comprehensive list since no one seems to know too much about it.

If I do a write up about it, will TBJ pay me for it? I know they ran an article last year about it, but it was written by a chick who knows nothing about guns and didn't have any useful information.

Re: Beijing North International Shooting Range

Cool. You might be the winner of this week's reader reviews.

Re: Beijing North International Shooting Range

That's it? Fart-tastic. What's the prize?

Re: Beijing North International Shooting Range

You MIGHT be.

I didn't promise anything....

The prize is two vouchers (valued at RMB 840 each) to go skiing at Nanshan ski resort.

Re: Beijing North International Shooting Range

Well that's no an ideal prize after 2 days of warm weather at the end of ski season.

Pass.

But I appreciate the offer.

Re: Beijing North International Shooting Range

Hi there!

I called to the Shooting Range facility's people. Passport is required for foreigners. Monday to Friday not many people.

About expenses: You may spend at least 100 RMB. There was suggested to bring at least 100 RMB but most of the regular shooting fans usually spend about 1000 RMB.

I haven't be there before. I may go there at the end of this month.

You taking your sweetie to the shooting range for Valentine's Day?

As they say, the way to a woman's heart is through the barrel of a firearm.

Re: Beijing North International Shooting Range

That just means Admin and Rodgery are getting it on at the office, and Rodgery is feeling the warm stirrings which often come with the beginning of spring and a new office romance.

Good work Admin, another notch on your bed post tiger!

Re: Beijing North International Shooting Range

Yes, Jordean. I believe both of those are available for 25Y and 35Y per round, respectively. But according to reports, you don't get to manipulate the weapon, just pull on a string that acts as the trigger.

You can bring 100 RMB if you want to, but I ended up spending about 4,000 RMB there in one day for two people. 5.8m assault rifles on full auto blow through a lot of ammo. So do belt fed light machine guns Smile.
