Earlier this morning during rush hour I was groped by this pervert on Line 1...surprisingly, he was a young-ish guy (probably in his 30s), but nevertheless a lonely sadsack who can't approach girls in broad daylight and thus resorts to sicksadsack behavior.

I thought initially that the pocket-sized girl behind me just misplaced her hands, but soon realized this wasn't the case. I grabbed the culprit's hand and pushed it away (several times, my god) and looked at the guy I suspected...yet he kept at it! I moved away and he followed me, at which point I was completely sure who it was. I asked him, yelling (in Chinese), "Are you touching me?? Don't touch me!" He looked a bit startled and just disappeared toward the back. If it happens again, monologues will be cut short and crotches will be met with a swift kick.

This is actually the second time this has happened to me in the six months I've been in this city. A co-worker told that me that if any local girl raises hell over stuff like this, the guy, especially if older, will likely just mock and insult her, and that I should yell at dry-humpers and butt-feelers in English first to establish that I’m not a native (although my imperfect accent gives me away anyway) since grab-happy men would be more wary of the legal implications of pissing off a foreigner...I'm not sure what they are, but as long as people believe that...

Has this ever happened to anyone else here? What have you done about it?

Edit (again): Not that anyone's reading this any longer, but just to clarify - I was born in Shanghai (mock away) and my DNA's 100% Chinese. Yeah, I'm that skinny, pale girl you probably took for a local and groped to your heart's content.
