Most tattoos are covered by a piece of clothing when you are at work. Well, in general. If you're a swimsuit model it'll probably be visible.

Hi LaLa,
I don't know so much about workplace rules in China, if you have tattoo it should not prevent you from getting job, unless you have something tattooed across you forehead, maybe here in China it's different than Europe, I am Manager working in China and would employee anyone who has tattoo's, I have two large tattoo on both upper arms, one mouri style and other Chinese Golden fish done here BJ!
Do you already have one? or just thinking about it? if you can conceal it then you will not have any issues...

and the part of my body where i want have tattoo, it will show up anyways. like somewhere near my ankle, or my hand....

An old school style full sleeve can look pretty on a girl, but it may reduce your career opportunities. Also a big back piece or something on torso/upper legs looks nice.

My tattoos are covered by my shirt, so no problems with employment. Considering a tattoo, placement is important, especially if you think it may effect your job prospects. A hairdresser can have a visible tattoo, a receptionist probably shouldn't.

drake thinks he's some kind of dandy. He's much better than any of the riff raff on the street. He lives in Fulicheng, which is where the low class with upper class aspirations live. He's probably a middle class Daily Mail reader back in Blighty, but he came to China to feel better than everybody else.
One day he dreams of moving to Shunyi, so he is savingmoneyhardhard for this. he also hate Chinese people and the culture here, so he wishes to live in an expat bubble. He is a deeply unhappy man.
He also has a tattoo of Minnie Mouse on his bell-end which he deeply regrets.

If you're concerned about getting a job at a formal place, it's best to get a tatoo in a place where it can be covered.
Don't worry about Drake's opinion. Apparently he thinks the word 'common' means - 'something that only a minority of people do, such as get a tatoo or smoke cigarettes'.
Me? I prefer things that are unique or uncommon, such as eating food and breathing air - according to the Drake-ian definition.
Drake do you ever have difficulties sitting down, what with that tremendous stick protruding from your ass?

you really dont want one from him.

try and get something that has a meaning to it,

I think Chinese people should all get "Made In China" tattooed on them. Small writing somewhere discrete, that would be so cool.

I don't think I will go for a made in china tattoo, b ut I wanted to get a red ( or black)scorpion done ( small) either on the back of my neck ( so my hair can cover it at work) or on my hip.
What do you think?

Dong Dong tattoo, very good very expensive. If you are having your first try for a fatty fleshy area, so not a hand or ankle. It WILL hurt. I know.

That would be a YES, but f*ck it. The pain doesnt last. Plus get it now before it gets too hot and takes longer to heal, and heals better cause your not sweating as much and therfore loosing more ink.
Finally cheaper is not something you are looking for here, remember its for life, costs a lot more to remove and hurts way more.

Not only is having a tattoo common in both meanings of the word but for a women it serves only to tell the rest of the world what a tramp you are, as per smoking.

I think it depends on the tattoo...I wouldn't want mine showing at work and no one except my lover would see it o n my hip.
I think these huge tattoos on girls are not classy in the least.

The permancy of a tattoo makes it seem like a pretty daft idea to me. It's one of those "it seemed like a good idea at the time" kind of things. How do all those people with anchors and roses look now? The vines and butterflies of today are tomorrow's anchors.
