Actually, Zhongguancun Street, the IT street north of Haidian HuangZhuang station, there's one underground along there. From Wudaokou head west to Peking uni then head south. 20-30 mins on foot.

Um, except that it's overcrowded, out of the way, has sh*t selection, and the people who work and shop there are total retards. Other than that it's fine.

Shuangjing Carrefour is a f-ing disgrace. Dirty, poorly managed (people knock glass sh*t off the shelves and the staff just leave it smashed on the ground as a nice little trip/laceration hazard), overpriced booze, the stinking seafood section is full of animals floating belly-up in tanks & water pouring out over the floors, vegetables section full of wilted greens that should be refrigerated, f-ing rude c*ntish staff who constantly cut in front of you at the checkouts ...I guess that's why the nongs love it so much (it's wildly popular). Makes them feel right at home

Re: Jia Le Fu (Carrefour)
I don't think you can.
Walmart is one stop away at ZhiChunLu.
The Lotus up stares at the west side from the station is a well stocked supermarket.
Also downstairs below the new building which has KTV, KFC on the immediate east side of the station, that's a nice supermarket.

Re: Jia Le Fu (Carrefour)
Carrefour is the worst place to shop in Beijing. Why would anyone want to go there?

I shop at Jenny Lou, Sanyuanli Market, Jingkelong, and Wal-Mart. Been to carrefour twice, and it is the worst f-ing place to whop in this entire city.

Re: Jia Le Fu (Carrefour)
Ok, I have to admit I haven't been to Carrefour for well over a year and can't remember anything about it.
I'm just naturally inclined to disagree with remedy. And the Carrefour in Qingdao was the best supermarket available when I lived there.
I shop at Lion Mart, Walmart or Jenny Lou's.
Hua Poo for toilet paper and cleaning stuff and whatever.
Local fresh vegetable market for veggies if I can be arsed, otherwise the pre-wrapped, pre-priced stuff at the above places.

I don't know about the other Carrefours, only my local. Maybe the other ones are great!
