What the hell has gone on with the visa situation? I leave for one year and come back to find the price to exchange L-F visa has tripled!
Anyway, my question is does anyone know if it will be possible to do a visa run to Hong Kong and come back (on a tourist visa) after the (pain in the ass) October celebrations have finished? If so what time scale are we looking at? One week after? Two weeks after? Or is it a wait and see type of situation.......
I'm currently on a tourist visa and want to extend until October (this is my first, so it should be ok, it is still possible to extend tourist visas at the moment isn't it?)

I may be forced to actually get a proper job in the current climate!!!!!!
