Importing Protein / Nutrition Supplements?

After comparing some prices at worldhealthstore.com.cn with the ones at bodybuilding.com, i found that the price at worldhealthstore is more or less doubled.

Have anyone tried to import proteins, vitamines, creatine and similar to china? And how much VAT + Customs chould I expect if I buy from there?

And is it likely that it will be confiscated by the customs and I loose my money? (i wont order anything that is not legal in china) Tongue

And if anyone know, how long time does it take for a package from US to China? Smile

Thanks!

You can try TaoBao.com, depending on your Chinese level.

When I was training last year, I got my protein and creatine from them, and while you do need to be careful, you can get good products much cheaper than what you buy from other places.

Re: Importing Protein / Nutrition Supplements?

Aha, nevermind. Seems like they got seller scores just like ebay, so I'd just need someone who can read chinese to help me Smile Great tip, there's a lot of products for a near american price!

That's a very good question and you would be advised to progress with extreme caution!

Also, Taobao recently launched a crackdown on fake feedback. Some unscrupulous sellers set up multiple accounts to give themselves positive feedback.

Sounds similar to some of the crackpots on this forum.

Sometimes the same is different, but mostly, it's the same.

This is an old topic, but wanted to reply in case future people want the same information.

ENC is the exclusive distributor for many top brands, you can check out our website for the products we carry. See if we have what you want. Big shipment coming in by the end of August with lots of new products from USPlabs, VPX, Oh Yeah!, and a few others. It's going through customs now hehe. Let us handle customs as we do it all the time, so you don't have to worry about it Wink

But definitely do your comparisons! Research what you want, check out the US store prices, see how much it costs to ship, see how long it takes to ship and then compare with ENC's prices. See what's more cost effective!
