CITS was set up as a branch of the propaganda department. In other words, if you travel in a tour in China, the aim of the tour is to teach you communist lies.

Chinese tourism usually involves being taken to fake temples, fake historical sites, fake reconstructions.

Tour guides force you to go to shops that pay them bribes. At the shops the sellers are extremely aggressive and dishonest. They will force you to buy rubbish.

Chinese hotels will telephone their guests several times a day to supply them with prostitutes.

Chinese tourists destroy almost everywhere they go with litter and noise. They throw things at animals, feed them junk food or pay to torture and kill them.

Also, they shout and harass any foreign visitor as if they were a pack of animals.

If you do travel around China:

1. Never, ever go on an organised tour.
2. Avoid at all costs Chinese tourists.
3. Take earplugs so you can't hear Chinese people shout racist abuse at you.
4. Never buy a guidebook written by Chinese people. Information written about Chinese history by Chinese people is always false. Guidebooks and information written by foreigners is usually reliable.

Zhengzhou is very lovely.

I would definitely recommend Yancheng, in Jiangsu province that is famous for its natural preservation zone, sacred place of the revolution and good-natrued people.

For me, I want to go to the Guilin travel tour very much, the people said that “the Guilin scenery A world”, I have watched Guilin's picture, there is a very beautiful place, beautiful scenery, the lake and mountain scenery ...... Shanxi's Pingyao old city, in my opinion, it is a mystical place. It has demonstrated an unusual ancient civilization, social, economical and religious development picture scroll for the people. It is also worth travelling.

Re: Travel in China

Hey all! I'm new here so need some advice. My partner's finally getting time off work and looking to do a few days of self-drive holiday in early February. Can anyone recommend a car rental company for that period? Preferably English speaking of course. (My partner has a local driving license, so driving in China's not a problem)

I think China is mostly famous for the Business trips. We also had two deals in China. Actually places over there and its environment made us comfortable very soon. It was an amazing experience to visit people over there, they are having lot of knowledge. It helped us in all aspects of our new endeavor in Asia.
