Hi,

Anyone know where I can buy a set of 15-20 receiving units and 1 or 2 transmitters for portable translation?

We often hold small meetings (both indoors and out) and it would help us to save time to have consecutive translation. I'd like to buy a mobile system (often we're outside in various venues - imagine tour group kind of setting) that does something like FM transmitting.

Any ideas? I've seen lots of places that sell walkie-talkie systems, but they are not made to do quite the same thing and aren't the best choice for a few reasons:
1) They would allow anyone with a unit to interrupt the whole group because any unit can transmit
2) The batteries are built-in and require special charging units (we would prefer units that use AA batteries that can be replaced anytime, anywhere)
3) The translation systems are more energy conserving because the receivers only receive (like an FM radio headset) and the transmitter has a more limited range.
