Re: Some Interesting Facts of English Language

A woman was at a party, and she was showing off how much she knew about the English Langauge.
She would tell everyone she would meet, did you know the word SUGAR is the only word in the English langage where SU sounds like sh?
Everyone thought this was a bright woman, but a little full of herself.
How full of herself was apparent when she told this to another woman who asked her, ""are you sure???""

Sure and Sugar, both sound like SHUR AND SHUGAR!
And probably the only words with this charactar!
