Anyone else think Salt has gone downhill recently?

The food is still great of course, but...
Slower service (and not just because there are less waitresses). Running out of beer (upstairs in a pub). Gabby even more cranky (even to regulars)...
Come on guys. Salt is still miles ahead of most of the competition. Let's keep it like that.

Funny that you mentioned this... I had a recent mamahuhu experience.
A friend and I went there something like two weeks ago for lunch. We found that they have a kind of special menu and decided to order this instead of the regular set-menu. At the end, the staff said that the chocolate dessert we choose was not available and if we wanted another chocolate dessert (not on the menu) we had to add like 30 RMB.
I absolutely don't mind to add extra but the staff asked Gaby to came to discuss with us and... well everything was done in a kind of rude way... Maybe it was a misunderstanding and they believed that we wanted to make an issue out of this (it was no our intention) but it was not really a nice experience.
I always go for lunch and have been told that there 5 course evening set menu is great.
