you have to prepare a lot of things,such as bachelor certificate, 2 years experiences certificate, your resume, health cetificate etc.
and your company need to offer many papers and documents.

There are two solutions on working permit application:
Solution 1: convert your visa without leaving China
1. Apply an employment license;
2. Apply a conversion from L/F to Z;
3. Apply working permit;
4. Apply a 1 year residence permit.

Solution 2: apply a working invitation letter
1. Apply an employment license;
2. Apply a working invitation letter and fly to HK or other country to apply a Z visa by the letter;
3. Extend your Z visa;
4. Apply a 1 year residence permit.

Documents you should prepare:
1. original paper of bechalor degree;
2. 2 year's working experience;
3. medical examination certificate;
4. age between: 24--60;
5. passport & registration of temporary residence;
6. certificate from any company which you are working or will work for.

if you are still working in the company ,it's easy to extend your residence permit ,your company should provide the copy of business license and so on.

For yourself:you just provide the passport,police registration .....

But if you change your job ,you should provide the banchelor degree.....

according to ur company:
company license copy and others .

by the way , change F to Z will be a little cofusing, need some time, u'd better take care of ur time to arrange ur visa stuff.avioding its expiring!

两年以上工作经验证明,需要前单位盖章,外文需要翻译成中文并加盖翻译公司公章。一定要原件。如果前单位没有公章，一定要有带有公司台头的文件纸。

8.A copy of company businese licence. If it is a foreign company, then needs to provide a copy of Approval certificate; if it is a domestic company, then needs to provide a copy of Society Inssurance Certificate. All copies need to be stamped.

YES, with some agency's help, you can convert L/F/X to Z two moths without leaving China mainland.

But if you already got 被授权单位签证通知函, you can hold it to the place on it to apply for one month Z visa or you just dont use it and ask agency to help you chang your current visa to 2months Z and go on the other application.
