Going rate for a UK Linguist?

I am already in this job but think I may be underpaid. Does anyone know what the going rate for an English 'Linguist' is? Basically I am correcting and translating US English to UK English for a huge financial company (though I work for their contractor in Beijing) There's no benefits and only 8 days leave a year plus the usual Chinese few.

I forgot to mention it's 40 hours a week with minimal visa assistance.
