Any Recent Hong Kong F visa success

Has anybody, of any nationality, in recent months had any luck getting an F visa in Hong Kong? Anything better than 30 days? Did you do the consular office or an agent (which one?)

Curious what people's actual experiences are as opposed to the theory.

Thanks!

Re: Any Recent Hong Kong F visa success

well, there are so many foreigner who went to HK recently and got a F visa successfully.
But the key point is that you have a business invitation letter first.
I understand that most people want to get a visa for a longer period but not a 30 days once and for all.
But there is no better choice for you to get a visa more than 30 days. Actually, it is like an entry certificate.
Once you enter in, you can extend it for 6 or 12 months.

Have any questions, you can contact me as the ways follow.

Re: Any Recent Hong Kong F visa success

I had written the China Travel Service in Hong Kong about this issue, twice, they didnt answer. Then I wrote two hostels in Hong Kong said I would stay there in march and asked if they can tell me for how much time I could stay in China with the visa of the longest period time... one hotel even answered, they said they dont know...

I intend to stay 6 months in China, paying for food, hotels, bus tickets, supporting the the Chinese economy, so whats the problem about giving me an appropriate visa?

Is it that: paying 1000 yuan for an invitation letter, getting in Hong Kong a F visa for one month and extending it where ever in China for 3000 yuan? I dont feel like paying extra 400 Euros on this bulllshit.

Right. Nobody wants to fork out for a visa. But that's just the way things are. No amount of complaining will change that. And since you're so keen on supporting the Chinese economy then what's another 400 Euro?

Paying excessive agents fees? Hmmm I guess that supports the Chinese economy

Re: Any Recent Hong Kong F visa success

Yes - at the end of January I went to HK and with the minimum of fuss got a 3-month double entry F visa with no requirement to leave China (until the visa expires, that is) from these guys - Foreverbright trading in Kowloon. The visa appears to have been issued in Shenzhen and took less than a day to get - give in passport before 9am, get it back after 2.30pm - at a cost of around HK$1100 (for UK passport). No invitation letter required, just your pasport and 1 photo.

Excellent service, I thought...

Re: Any Recent Hong Kong F visa success

I have also used Foreverbright trading, they are fast and efficient plus no need for invitation letter as they sort it out for you. Also pretty cheap, I havent spent over HK$1000 with them.
