Next pool to the North would be at Ditan Park. Strong point: 50 m lanes. Weak points: busy and shitty showers.

There's a gym in the Sun City complex just off Gongti Bei Lu that has a decent 25m pool. You need to join the gym though. Good thing is it's usually not too crowded.

I would not recommend the pool at powerhouse. It is often crowded unless you go right around opening time on the weekends. Otherwise it is crowded with locals who seem to feel the need to spit constantly. They spit both in the water and around the pool. The changing room is also lousy and often crowded because the staff use it for changing and keep their stuff in a lot of the lockers. Not sure what the answer is, but Powerhouse is terrible.

Infact I will be moving to my new house next month & It has a swimming pool. So this summer I can soak in the pool. I am so happy, I finally have my own pool.

Yeah well you should really try joining a fitness club and you will get all the free swimming you want or maybe just buy a inflatable pool for your house ,I got one and it is great.

Great that they would have a pool at Dongzhimen. Most of us really love swimming, especially kids, they love playing in the water with their swimming pool floats. Good news!
