Hi all,
I'm currently using an L visa (been extended twice).My current visa expires on the 21st of Feb.Planning on obtaining a new visa from Hong Kong (or Beijing if I can) next week.
I want to stay for 4 more months in Beijing so I've been thinking through my options.
Any advice on which is the easiest (or at least doable) would be greatly appreciated.
A. Apply for an F visa in Hong Kong with an invitation letter from a company here in the mainland. Is it possible to get this from an agent? Can anyone suggest a reliable company?
B. Apply for an X visa (in Beijing or Hong Kong).
Planning on enrolling in a language school which provides an X visa for 4 months, secure a JW form and a letter of admission, fly to Hong Kong and apply by myself (or get the help of an agent if need be).
Are X visas with duration of 4 months doable in Hong Kong? Are there any additional requirements I need to prepare?
Please take note that I only wanna stay for 4 months. This worries me because as far as I know, X visas are issued in Beijing with a minimum of 6 months. I'm currently enrolled with a small language school that can't provide any visa help. I already signed a contract with a company in South America and need to fly there by July. I just came here to polish my Chinese which I learned a few years back so signing up for a whole semester of classes is not really an option for me.
