BlackBerry 8320
Hi there,
I just got a BlackBerry 8320 with the idea that I could set up push email with my work email and gmail. Well, I have had it for 2 weeks and have not managed to set up anything... the email setup just asks for a BES activation password, which i don't have, and gives no other options. Internet searches aren't helpful (although it seems that most people have actually managed to get this to work) and my IT department are clueless.
I'm a total beginner with BlackBerry and so I wondered if anyone could help shed some light? I suspect user stupidity is at fault so any information would be great.
Thank you!

Re: BlackBerry 8320
Does your company have Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) setup? If not then your only option would be Gmail but you have to make sure that your phone has internet access.
In your Gmail account go to Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Scroll down to IMAP Access and enable it. Follow the instructions on how to set it up for your BB.
Hope this helps!

Re: BlackBerry 8320
if ur company supports BES that will be worked , if not , you'd better call 10086 (China Mobile Communications Corporation CMCC )
I normally use 139mail to forward emails to my blackberry. That work out.
Ah ,berrymail.cn &shangmail.com have application for BB .
Hope it can help !

Re: BlackBerry 8320
Thanks Richardker - the problem is that in the Email Setup menu on my BB I only have the option to select "I want to use a work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server" which I do not have. I understand there is meant to be an option for "add an email account" but that just isn't there?!
Thank Omayio, my work webmail is 263xmail, so potentially I could just add this account if the "add email account" was available, right?
Any advice on how I can figure this out (i.e. how can I get the extra email account option added)?
And will either of these be push? I called China Mobile (my provider) and they offered no help whatsoever.
Is there a BlackBerry service centre I can go to or something?
Thanks again!!!
