L to F visa Beijing or Outside

I arrive Beijing early in March on an L tourist visa,(BRITISH PASSPORT) I have been China many times and these new rules of needing a Chinese account with thousands of rmb or is it 3000$US at the moment? is crazy, Neverthless I want to stay longer than 1 month and need an F visa or extension of L by up to 60 more days i think is the maximum,
What prices can agents offer in Beijing or any other city nearby for extension or change to F , preferably in Heibei. I will visit Langfang to stay with friends there.

you have two choices
1.extend L visa for 3 months
2.convert L to F visa for 6 months

Yes, the L to F conversion is a good way to avoid openning $3000 China bank account.
If you convert your L to F directly, you just need prepare the registration of temporary residence, photo and your passport.
But L visa extension still need the bank saving certificate.
I'm sorry i really don't know the price in Heibei. But i don't think the conversion fee is high recently.
Actually, you have 2 solutions to get the F visa:
1. apply the business invitation letter (if you are outside now, this is the best choice.)
2. convert from L to F without leaving.
