how to get to tibet? or nepal?

Hey

does anyone know how to get to tibet from beijing? i know you need a traveler's permit that you can only obtain from a travel agency, but does anyone know a good trustworthy travel agency and whether we would be able to do what we want once we get there or do we have to stick with the tour. also any info about going from tibet to nepal? thanks any help would be appreciated.

Hey Aurora if I was free I would run you there barefeet in a heated rick shaw.

Hi Aurora - Ever get any information? My friend and I plan on making it out to Tibet, jumping into Nepal and hopefully hiking the Everest's base camp.

More economic way of going to Tibet is to take train, the hard sleeper is all right.To pull the ticket of Sa even if the off season can't has too big discount, either, my peak season ticket that go in July, this year in Peking price 2000 this prices are to call 8.5 to fold, gave you the reference for a while.The tour season of Tibet is May, every year~in October but in July and August is a raining season, because the wreath mountain elevation Gao bank of clouds too thick or rainy words will have a lot of landscapes could not see.For example the bead Feng still has Lin Hai etc..Tibet in September a little bit has a little cool, is pulling Sa to need the clothing like some thin sweaters or hair vest, if go to bead Feng ……however Lin Zhi's direction is very beautiful, can see a lot of colors rich in beauty.This is other seasons could not see.

If you really want to take airplane, can consider to fly west rather train again into hide, can save a lot.I at the beginning calculated for a while probably can little China 400~500 dollars.However from rather to pull the train ticket of Sa isn't generally difficult to buy~~~~

Report regiment and follow regiment although not enough freedom however the price will be a lot of cheap

first,apply for a Tibet Travel Permit .then get some information about its situation right now.
