I've been watching from the beginning, and I still don't know what the hell is going on.
Yeah, it's almost too clever for its own good, isn't it?
I'm always blown away at the end of each episode and have to look online for theories and what the f*** it all means.
It's really scary how into it some people on the internet actually are. It's as if they actually study this sh*t at university. Like they remember tiny little clues from the first season that I've totally forgotten about.
Actually, I think there is actually a university for Lost fans. Bizarre.
No doubt when it's over, I'll have to watch it all again.
Finally watched the Ricardo episode. Definitely excellent; I've been waiting a long time to find out his story.
-----(Spoilers below)-----
So, what is the deal with jacob vs. mib? Are they god and devil playing games to find out if man is really good or bad inside? Is MIB supposed to be, like, "all the evil in the world," and jacob's sole purpose is to make sure he can't get off the island, aka his "cage" or whatever?
ATD: my answers to your questions...
first, about the "others," it's not clear how much any of them really know, except for richard and ilana, so they were probably in the dark about this "candidates" thing. Plus, they've always been hostile, but how often have they actually killed any of the survivors?
As for "why did MIB let them off the island," well... I'm not sure. But, it's not MIB who really WANTS them on the island in the first place, it's Jacob. MIB just wants to get off the island himself; everything else is irrelevant.
--------(End spoilers)-------
Either way, can't wait for the newest one! Should be today, right?

It seems it's all related to Eqyptian legend: Osiris and Set.

It's Desmond today? Cool, I thought that was episode 11.
I'm not going to pretend I came up with this but I read online that it could be Des locked in that room on Widmore's sub (the one where Sawyer said 'What's in there?', and he's kidnapped him because he has some affinity with the island and he needs him.
Whatever, Desmond is one of the the key players and his episodes are always the most revealing/interesting.
Remmy: Osiris and Set? Not familiar with that one... or do you mean Osiris and Isir? Well, I guess that explains the huge statue.
Hey, so you know who I'm really curious about now? Whitmore! Why is he so obsessed with the island, how much does he know, and why was he banished back when he was the leader? And just whose side is he on, anyway? He talked earlier about the "wrong side winning" if Locke didn't go back to the island - that would imply he's on MIB's side. But he also seems to have a plan to kill (or at least imprison) MIB.
Also... is it a coincidence that the slave trader who bought Richard was named Whitmore??
On another note, it must be crazy to watch it from the beginning now. Think about it: all those times dead people appeared to the survivors, that was actually MIB plotting some evil scheme??

Episode 3:
**************SPOILERS!!!************
Man, I hate that Japanese guy and his hippie translator.
The "flash sideways" stuff isn't that great... my guess is that- whatever happens in the finale- will make all that stuff disappear.
No Ben? No Sun? Hmm....
Woah- Ethan!
Oh, the ring.. quite sad.
"Poison." Wow!
WOAH- MAJORLY head-fuc*ed by the final image.
New episode day after tomorrow!

Probabaly the best episode...ever. It's all starting to wrap up nicely now.
But when Richard tried to summon the MIB, I was expecting fake Locke to turn up. That's not giving too much away.

Re: "Lost" Season 6: The Final One
Yeah was EXCELLENT.
The only things that doesn't add up for me are (SPOILERS):
Why did MIB let most of the candidates leave the island for 3 years?
Why did The Others try to kill the losties seasons 3 & 4 if they were supposed to be protecting them?
