Uni letter hasn't arrived
Applied to study Chinese at University.
Letter hasn't arrived.
Now, I will have to apply for an L-visa and change at immigration in Beijing(around 500 yuan).
My question is when I go to apply for an L-visa should I mention that I have applied to study at University. I don't intend to.
If asked I just plan to say I will travel for a week before starting studying.
As the University needs to apply to a government office in Beijing maybe my name will be on a list...
Any info?
Thanks in advance.

the application is only school's work. its nothing to do with the government office. its 2 different individual units.
in your case, you can just come in China with L. school will change it to a student visa for you. but remember find a big public school.
The best deal of getting visa!
