In USA. sometimes Photographers and aspiring models get together and do a TFP (time in exchange for photos).
Both the photographer and model donate their time, and both get photos.
To make this really worthwhile, sometimes five or six photagrphers will get together with 5 or 6 aspiring models.
The models bring a wardrobe of different outfits and every 10 min or so, same outfit, different photographer. After all the photographers go through, change outfits, and repeat.
I once saw two photographers pay a great model for her time, and they split the cost and her time.
She posed, looked into the first photographers camera, and upon hearing his click, looked into the second photographers camera, upon hearing his click, changed pose, and the first photographer shot her, then repeat!

Usually the photographers bring something for the models to eat and the models have a nice lunch at no cost to themselves.
And at the end of the day, and hat is passed amoung the photographers and they throw money in that will be evenly divided amoung the models. This does not come out to a professional rate, but makes them feel appreciated and want to do this again!
More photographers than models means more work for the models, but also more money is thrown in the hat for them.
If the models time is used effectively, she could pose look into the first camera, upon hearing a click change pose and a second photographer shoot her, then change pose and the first photographer shoot her.

I would like to participate in such a get together!

have you found a "meetup group" yet for photography yet?

I'm a beginner in photography and would love to meet others that have the same interest. I got my SLR last year and it's been sitting around collecting dust.

Plus, it wouldn't kill to meet people in this new city.

Yeah! great! I enjoy photo i enjoy seeing a model . but I am not a model, I do not want to be a model. hrh! gagago!
hrh, organize a model group, so I can see models every day! OH!GOD smart! haha

If someone on here has a good studio, I will hire a reasonable priced Model with a good number of outfits to model for us.
I'll pay her bill and share her time.

One of us takes ten shots, every time she hears the camera click she snaps a different pose, then the other takes ten shots.
Then she changes outfits.

If you know of a Model who knows how to pose well, and have a studio, drop me a line!

Impressive stuff here. The information and the aspect were just wonderful. I think that your viewpoint is deep, it’s just well thought out and truly incredible to see someone who knows how to put these thoughts so well. Good job!
