Speaking of things that appear cleverer than they are, there's this elderly geezer that calls himself a "professor of music" in town and he gets nuff cash doing exhibitions of his inventions. He amazes people by taping two motion censors on a controller (commercially available from Roland as a 'D Beam' since 94) and makes loads of weird wooshing noises over "his" music, which turns out to be the demo tune from a program called Reason. Nobody comes close in sheer coolness.... he looks a bit like Doc from back to the future.

Classic!!!!!!
