Teaching English (IELTS?) in China

Hey there

I'm just wondering what the situation in China is right now with having foreign people teaching out english? What are the requirements for that? I'd very much like to do something like that.

I've studied Mandarin for some terms on the high school level and then another term on the academic level ... also doing the IELTS test this spring and aiming for something above 7.5...

Any kind answers will be highly appreciated Smile:)

Cheers from Sweden

Re: Teaching English (IELTS?) in China

hi, my name is Paul, and I am a qualified IELTS teacher in Beijing.

IELTS training is always hot in China and will continue to be in the next decades. So, qualified foreign teachers are frequently needed by training schools and colleges, either priviate or public.
