Beijing Lights

Hi everyone.

I'll be in Beijing just for one night.
I'll arrive at Beijing airport at 11pm, will leave the following morning at 11am and would like to do something different than sleeping, as during the flight back to Europe there is nothing else to do.

I've been twice to Beijing in the past years and have seen most of the most important places.
I wonder if I can visit and maybe take some night photo of the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. Do you know until what time the lights are on?

I've heard of other places with interesting night lights like Guojie Street, the Wangfujing night market and Hotel G in Gongtixilu (Chao Yang).
Do you know if the lights are on all night long or, as I am afraid, that everything is turned off quite early?

I'm italian, so I apologize for my poor English.
Thank you for your attention.

Re: Beijing Lights

Lights at Bird Nest and Water Cube are usually on until 9:30-10:00

Guijie is 24 hours - lots of lights and you can grab a bite to eat since all restaurants there are open till late

Re: Beijing Lights

I don't think Wangfujing night market (Donghuamen Night Market) has interesting lights. Also several hundred thousand people photograph this place every year.

Hotel G is of no interest.

Guijie is good. I have taken lots of photographs there and around
