My old Mandarin tutor's name is Vivian. She's been awesome. I started with a really mixed level of Mandarin, strong in some areas and weak in others and she really helped me develop my abilities by teaching me some important basics that I skipped.
She speaks English in case you're beginning and she's very patient and easy going. Still young in her mid 20s she's already been teaching for awhile.
She is also incredibly cheap at 40/hour, very flexible as well and was open to meet anywhere. And went above and beyond sending me characters to study at the end of every day despite only having classes 3 days a week.
Great teacher, I would recommend to anyone. She already has a few students, but I'm sure she'll be happy to handle a few more where she can.
