Job tips, pointers wanted!
Argh! Sorry for bother you all but I´ve just come out of retirement (4years of parental-leave) and feel so incredibly sluggish looking for work.
In a nutshell; I interrupted my studies ´over there´ to follow my wife ´over here´ and take care of our baby daughters and find myself now with a mountain of academic credits but no degree, years of outdated work-experience but no real professional skills and no social network on account of babysitting for half a decade. Basically on the level of an overprivileged misanthropic backpacker.. Feel like a midget with a jojo, so many sites and I get how you use them but hard to find a decent course of action/perspective besides responding to ads and placing them.
So.. Tips! Please.
ANY, ANY place or NGO you know where they happen to need someone ... generally like the 10th doctor who: Please PM or write me and I´ll ... I´ll send a thank you back.
# Of course I´ve checked all the previous treads concerning NGO work, job-sites etc. Just hoping someone might have an interesting tip/lead. O, and "Get yr head out of your arse", "Just keep sending those resumes", "follow up on your applications etc" or "go home" are all things I´ve considered and/or am in the process of. Happen to have to be in town for another few years.
Sorry for the rant, and admin: I know job searches should go on classifieds but, come on, this would make an odd ad. It´s a what kind of job oppurtunities are there for the doctor? sort of discussion.
