Bobby you have to take advantage of these opportunities because your employer is paying you too little.

I think monkeyking is right, it's almost expected that you be a bit corrupt, because that's how you get promoted in China.

If they see that you are willing to be dishonest, they can trust you and bring you into their thieving circle.

If they think you're a rat, they'll never promote you because you might bust them.

Show them you're a real smooth criminal, and good things will come your way.

It's a test. And by reporting it Bobby fails.

Bobby if you want to report someone to curry favour, report someone who does NOTHING at work, I mean someone who is genuinely lazy, and have proof.

If you're productive at work but also corrupt, you can easily get away with it.

If you're lazy at work but also corrupt, you're bound to get shitcanned.

You have to do SOMETHING to justify your income-supplementation. Trust me, your bosses know absolutely that you are underpaid salary-wise.

ok, this is what's going on in my company.

me used to be a assistant for GM and vice GM, working for PO and repair.(International)

another hot cashier made my GM mad very frequently. she work as a part time procurement girl for my company.

company is growing so fast, want to get 10 new people, including a new procurement man.

then, GM tell another vice GM to ask me: bobby, do you want to do domestic precurement?

me: yes.

the, GM: booby, you are with me for 1 year. i can see you are a guy with work morality. you were asked about procurment.
many people want me to assign them to do it, but i dont want them,.i only want you to do it.

me: thank you......etc BS.....

GM: if she shits it all to you successfully, then you will get a raise..
