Hi everyone. I just arrived in Beijing and just joined the forum. As a psychology major in college with a minor in Chinese I think I being a unique perspective to this forum. Maybe I'm the only one here who can bridge both sides of the culture gap! So I look forward to interacting with all of you. If you have any questions about China or Chinese, please ask me. After all cooperation and harmony is why we're all here, right? I hope to lend a more upbeat note to this forum.

No, I'm not. But that is my strength! I have studied Chinese and everyone agrees I really listen to people well. Sympathy is more important than knowledge! Books don't have the secret, people do. People like you!

Back in my college we actually started a Twelve-Step Group for sarcastic people. You should have felt the synergy flow when we got going!

Come on, Mt.T! Drugs are illegal here in China. Even back home they are only partaken of by people who don't know how to work through their self-generated negativity horizon. (Breath work helps here!) I don't need drugs because I've unlocked the love inside.

Get up! Sniff up a handful of cold water into each nostril. Then try sitting quietly counting your breaths. twenty minutes should have you conducting a positive flow of pure energy!

Here's a question for ya, Archie - how does a fat person lose weight? Now this fat person has some things going against him or her right? Genes, mostly, but low self-esteem and frequent self-loathing also provide excuses for munching hardcore on bags of Cheetos and buckets of fried chicken.

If he or she hired you what would be the first thing you told him or her to do to get on the path of correcting their situation.

(He or she has already tried breathing exercises).
