How common are one-to-one tutoring jobs through companies that can sponsor someone a working visa in China?
Since I will be teaching English for the first time and I will need to practice before I'm ready to teach an entire classroom, I was looking for a company I could work for where I would tutor one or at most, a few students at once? I know that there are many companies like this, but they don't sponsor a working visa, but I'm wondering if there are any companies like this that can get me a working visa so I am legal?

You won't find many that are able to give you a Z visa.
The ones which can usually mix your teaching schedule with one to one classes and group classes, so they get their money's worth out of you.
Sometimes the same is different, but mostly, it's the same.

I see. I had a feeling of this. Well I have experience tutoring one-on-one, but never teaching in front of a large class. I heard that the class sizes vary anywhere from 20 students or more to as low as about 5 students? I would hope to find a smaller size class to start off my teaching career. Does anyone know of any companies in particular that offer smaller class sizes to teach?

I belive there aint many at 5 due to lack of profit.
Most need at least 12 and above to make it worth there while.
Unless you go it alone and set you own up
I know some who teach between 40 to 60...
Im a f-ing Idiot.

Damn between 40 to 60 would be way too much for a beginner like me. I guess 12 students wouldn't be too bad. Are most Chinese students well behaved or am I looking at a nightmare trying to teach this many at once?

The trick is that the more there are the better.
With groups that size there's more opportunity for discussion, you let them do all the work/speaking. Just set the right tasks or games and let them go to it.
No one would expect you to go around individually to each student in a class that size.

Well I wouldn't expect to have to teach each student in a large class individually, but I also don't want to just be in an all eyes on me situation for hours at a time. I guess I could plan for them to practice their conversational skills among each other, partnering up and all that kind of stuff. I could just walk around the class and listen in and correct their mistakes as they go...any English teachers of large classes on here do this?

Nothing going to prepare you before hand.

Yes you are right. I have a friend who teaches in Beijing. I was planning on maybe sitting in on one of his classes and just seeing how he does things and take some notes. Hopefully, I will even be allowed the opportunity to do this.

Robert. Stop worrying about this.
If you feel really uncomfortable you should consider doing the CELTA course. This will prepare you for the very worst of things.
It depends how serious and how committed you are to this new career path.
You should realise though that almost anyone can do this job at a basic level, with no experience, no qualifications, no f-ing idea, and still make a living from it.

Conversation skills? haha, you are assuming they can speak English, if you are going to let them talk with each other I can tell you now they will not be speaking English!
As for how the kids are here I can just say kids are kids everywhere, no matter what country. Some here are little angels, others you just wish you could, , , well, lets just say some behave poorly. As said above, you will see when you start. As for class size they all vary, I often teach class with 10 or less, almost never more than that.
