Beijing Foreign Studies University Chinese Centre?
Does anyone have any experience of BFSU?
For some reason the links on their website arn't working, so I can't check any information:

Re: Beijing Foreign Studies University Chinese Centre?
Yea... Beiwai is a really nice campus. Studied there for two and a half years. Very easy going, away from all the commotion of the Wudaokou or Sanlitun scene, but not too far from the former as well, so good enough as a home base for studying and chilling, and good enough to go out partying as well. The surrounding area is peaceful enough, surrounded by two other universities, one being MingzuDaxue, and the other Ligong Daxue, so you get a nice mix of Han Chinese, Chinese ethnic minorities, and foreigners of many different countries (mostly Koreans, Japanese, Italians, other Europeans, some Americans and Canadians, and some from African and Latin American countries). It is definitely a good experience.
The teachers are mostly good... from time to time you get an idiot young teacher who doesn't know how to teach, but overall, I'd say I have positive experiences of all my teachers.
If you have any other questions, please ask.

I had the same problem the other day and it seems fine now. I am actually happy it wasn't working because I wouldn't have found CUCAS which is an agency that helps with placement at Chinese Universities. Even if you didn't use their service they still have a lot of useful information on their website.
Have you thought about using travel health insurance for your next vacation?
