Can foreigners ever fit into China?

As you walk, people stare at you because you are different. They gape, point and stare. Like an escaped monkey from the Zoo.
The women approach you, all friendly and smiling. But they are prostitutes out to make a living.
Some foreigners says that foreign men get the best Chinese women. One can't help but ponder - the best Chinese prostitutes or the best Chinese women? Why would the best and most virtuous Chinese women marry someone with a totally different culture? one who cannot communicate with them in the same language?
Aren't these women prostitutes? Far from being the best, they are in fact, the worst.
The men that befriend you are those who want to live abroad as well. They are inwardly bitter and unpatriotic; simply put losers.
You attract people of the worst kind to be your friends.
People overcharge you, simply because they can. Business partners try to do you in, simply because they can. You don't understand the language on the TV, newspapers and mass media. You don't belong here. You are a foreigner, a stranger, an outsider.
Even after 10 years of learning Mandarin, your Mandarin is still not native level. And your accent is weird and terrible. You look different and act differently still.
You can eat dumplings for every meal and read the Chinese dictionary every night, but you will never fit in. You are just a wannabe.
You are foreign, like a monkey who escaped from the zoo, they stare and point. An outsider looking in, always.

I don't really get the whole "I troll because it fills my life with meaning" thing, but either way, this is probably one of the most successful trolls in the recent history of TBJ.

Retail stores and food outlet charge foreign persons 30 yuan for a 10 yuan item.
And I have never met a foreigner who speaks native level Mandarin. Even those who have lived in China for 20 years don't speak native level Mandarin.
I guess it is extremely hard for foreigners to fit in, no matter how hard they try.

I know compared to you lot us foreigners are often pretty tall, fat or bulky but China's a big country so I think she can manage.

the average american is probably 4cm taller than the average chinese, so it all depends i guess. i have met plenty of short foreign men.
but fat yes. obesity is epidemic in america. in china it is a growing problem as well.
