US visa?

hey everyone,

this morning I gotten the new that my mom(who's in LA) had a cancer relapse and the doctors say it's very serious this time. so I've been searching and calling people since then on visa to the US to bring my mom back to China.

background info is that back in about 96, our family went to the U.S on B1/B2 visa, I returned to China after about 6 years and my mom stayed. And yes, she has no green card, but she has great credit/tax history, bought both a house and a business there. I'm currently taking the online course at Academy of Art University and the school can provide documents to proove this as well.

I got this one agency who told me to bring my dad's and my old passport to the US embassy and try to sign a short visa tied to B1/B2 with the school's document supported and not mention a thing about my mom.. They say it's the fastest way to go than travel or student visa.

Does anyone in the forum, whom I hope has worked in the embassy can tell me if this is the right way to go? or if there's a better way?!

All suggestion welcomed, thanx!
