Ext residents permit

Hi , I hope someone can help me ,I am teaching in Henan province , my RP will expire on the 27th of June , I have a new position in Shandong starting on August 31st.I will fly home on the 24th of June for two weeks.
Can I get some sort of extension in Henan to see me through to when I go to Shandong, but remain in Henan without going to Shandong.
Or could I do this by going to Heze which is the closest city for me.
I really don't have the time,it's like 10hrs there and another 10 back, plus time there.
PLEASE , help.

You'd better NOT convert your residence permit to any other type of visa.
Instead, extend your residence permit before it expires (June 27) if the new employer agrees. You can try to negotiate with the new employer although you will start work on Aug. 31.
You will survive from the trouble of applying for the work visa from the first beginning. Both the new employer and you will benefit from it.
