Beijing Guoan Fixtures
Please would somebody be kind enough to provide me with a list of Guoan's forthcoming fixtures?
I have looked at their website and it's a pile of sh*t. The tickets page just directs you to some email address.
Also, any regulars could tell me where the best places to sit are. As an ex-sometime-Anfield Road end goer I want to sit where all the mentals are (albeit probably fairly polite Chinese ones).
And where is best to get tickets? Can I just turn up on matchday and expect to get in? Or should I head down to the ticket office a few days before? What is the general cost of going to matches (eg admittance, programme if they do them, maybe the Beijing equivalent of a meat n potato pie, scarf).
Thanks

Re: Beijing Guoan Fixtures
I've not been to watch them for a few years, apart from last year's Premiership tournament, but tickets used to be relatively cheap (less than 100 kuai).
Best to sit in the east stand, that's where all the mentalists are. No problem getting tickets on matchday, that's what I always used to do. The stadium is huge and never fills up for league games.
No pies I'm afraid. warm bottles of Sprite and Chinese 'sweets' are as good as it gets.
Enjoy!

Thanks for that, but how can they have two fixtures on the same day, is there something I don't get about Chinese football?

If you read Chinese, here's a friend's blog about soccer in Beijing and also everything in the run up to World Cup 2010.

I want to go to Guoan game this weekend.
Is it possible to buy a ticket at the gate or do you have to pre-book.
