How do you shop and who do you buy?

For fellow BJ expats out there, i would jus like to know what kind of stores do you shop at chinese stores? or familiar american/non chinese stores. I for one would prefer to shop local, as it is more wallet friendly and chinese female clothing are more stylish. also, i wouldnt want to come all the way from canada to shop at familiar stores or waste cash on overpriced name brands.
anyone else feels this way?

now, you can start to buy the same sh*t in local chinese markets as yashow and silk, so its easy to bargain. they don't have quite the same amount of stuff, but you can still find everything i've seen there. I just bought some knives for 3 rmb each, i couldnt get below 10-15 at silk

I always prefer to shop online.Because doing online shopping saves our time a lot.Nowadays you can get the delivery within a short duration.

I think so. So I also choose shop online. But I can't touch products and check their quality directly.

No matter where you go. If you have a white face, the price won't be that much cheap. Whenever I go shopping i ask my foreign friends 10 meters away from me. And also whenever they want to buy something, tell me first and point the thing secretly and go to bargain. Thats the best way for saving money.
