question regarding work permit

Hi everyone !

Im coming over to work as an English teacher in Beijing, however the government has asked me to provide evidence of employment. Im aware a foreigner has to accumulate 2 years of working expereince. Regarding this topic, I have some questions

1. Does the 2 years of experience necessarily have to be working experience since univeristy/college graduation ?

2. If 2 years postgrad experience is required, why is that the case ?

3. What department looks after the processing of work permits for foreign English teachers ?

1.I think so,you need have have the two years working experience certificate.
2.That means you have working experience,this is the policy.
3.If you find a school ,you just need expert Certificate,and we can help you convert your L,F visa to work visa.

1.yea.it's very important to provide 2 years experiences certificate,both in china and abroad
2.you 'd better provide it ,cos you will save a lot of money with it
3.depends on the company or school which offers you the position

Hi James,

1、The work experience should be after your university graduation;

2、2 years work experience certificate is a requierd document by the related department;

3、the department is Beijing Labor bureau or Beijing Foreign Expert Bureau.

Here is quick answers to your questions:
1. yes
2. Labour's Bureau wanna hire qualified foreigners with at least working experience;
3. depends if ur gonna apply for employment permit or Foreign expert permit as Labour's Bureau n Foreigh Expert Bureau require differnt documents. Whether its done through Labour's Bureau or Foreigh Expert Bureau depends your employer.

I am a visa agency, to tell you the truth, if you can't think through the complex documents' "function", just think Chinese policy which is unreasonable sometimes. Everyday our company handles many visa relevant documents and hands them over to Beijing Labor bureau and Foreign Expert Bureau, just in case, our government requires the full documents they needs.
