new visa!

Hello,

I will arrive in Beijing on a double entry 30 day visa on June 2nd. However this is the seond time I use this visa so the last time I can use it.

I will leave Beijing again on the 12th and will come back on the 17th so I need a new visa for the entry on June 16. I will stay only 2 weeks so a 30 days entry should be sufficient.

Please email me how much the new visa will cost and how long it will take to get it.
I hold a Dutch passport.

What kind of visa is it?

And why don't you just go to the Entry & Exit Bureau and do it yourself?

I guess you are holding L visa .You can definitly extend ur visa in Exit&Entry Administration here in beijing by yourself
The needed documents are as follows:
Your passport
One two-inch photo
Bank book (save at least 21,000rmb)
The Temporary Residence Permit

It will take 5 working days to do Visa extension ,then u will have one month L visa with one entry, it means that you can go out and re-enter china as ur plan .

Hi Merel,

Because from your information, I can't find what's the type of your visa. So I provide several options for you, You can choose which one suit yourself.

Option 1: If you are holding L visa now. After this coming on June 2nd, you can extend it by yourself in Beijng Exit&Entry Administration. As they need 5 working days to finish Visa extension, so you need to give them your passport at least before one week. Then you will get one month L visa with one entry. You can see above that the documents they need.

Option 2: If you are holding F visa now. I suggest you apply for a new L visa when you leave Beijing again on June 12th. As it's easy and cheap. You only need to pay several hundred for government fee. And normally, one or two days you can get the L visa for 30 days.

Option 3: You also could find a Visa Agent in Beijing before you leave China again if you are holding F visa. They can help you extend F visa at least for 3 months. It's really convenient for you, only submit some documents will enough. But the cost higher than apply for L visa by yourself outside China. So I think you choose option 2 better if you are holding F visa now.

I think you will need to extend your visa, even its only 2 weeks stay. But its very important if your holding L or F visa. as price of extending them r different.
