Good live acoustic or "unplugged" albums.

Everyone knows the Nirvana unplugged album is very good.

What others do you know of that are any good?

It doesn't have to be the "unplugged" brand, any live acoustic albums that are great.

I put forward one, Alice and Chains Unplugged.

My favourite track is "Would".

Neil Young Unplugged is great.

Plus, if you're into Oasis, which I know you all are, there are literally hundreds of Liam or Noel acoustic albums that are fkn ace.

I'd post a link, but they'd probably take the site down.

They.

yes, them.

Can Liam play guitar?

i loved the lauryn hill mtv unplugged album. no matter how much you might not agree with her views or some of the stuff she sings about, her voice is breathtaking. maybe not your kind of music though hero.. the whole thing is here part by part http://so.tudou.com/isearch/lauryn%20hill%20unplugged/

Trust me, it's so danger.

Yeah you're right, not my kind of music.

How'd you know, nananananananananananananayeah?

I really don't like her attitude either, she's racist towards white people.

Seriously.

Re: Good live acoustic or "unplugged" albums.

I like Eric Clapton Unplugged. Mostly for the guitar styles presented which I've spent countless hours trying to emulate.

Sometimes the same is different, but mostly, it's the same.

He can play a G chord and a D chord.

He was helped by Gem.

Really good stuff though.

If you're into The Cure, their Acoustic Greatest Hits is worth a bash.

It was a bonus disc on the Greatest Hits album, but easily traceable.

Re: Good live acoustic or "unplugged" albums.

I'm looking for it, I really like what I've heard of Oasis' acoustic stuff.

Noel's a dick but I really dig his music and voice, hopefully poncing around with Russel Brand won't ruin his head.

I'm not saying I don't like Liam's voice, by the way, I do.

I'm quite interested to see what he produces with the "new" band.

yeh i know about that racism thing, i think she's a little crazy maybe. she's been a hermit for like 5 years in haiti or something.. still, fucking gorgeous music. fills my heart with joy every time i listen to it.

i did like that oasis song talk tonight, which i only ever heard as an acoustic version. sorry i still don't know how to embed videos Silly http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/R0jXk8G1jDY/

Earphoria from Smashing Pumpkins had some good acoustic versions on it.

Re: Good live acoustic or "unplugged" albums.

Stevie Ray Vaughan unplugged (MTV Unplugged, first series, early 90ies).

Totally!

My recommendations would be the Allman Brothers Band - "MTV Unplugged" and Tesla - "Five Man Acoustical Jam", both released in 1990.

Re: Good live acoustic or "unplugged" albums.

oh, Allman Brothers Band.. I never knew they ever played an Unplugged <3

I'm adding Pearl Jam to the list. Released in 1992, I believe.
