i left China a bout 3 years a go with an expired visa,i reported to the police who were very nice to me though i was detained for about 5 days in Chengdu.From their the police accomponied me to GZ aiport since my flight was leaving from their.
Presently,i found me a good job with a Chinese company,the Job requires me to visit China atleast 2 times a year since our HQ is based in China.I tried to apply for a visa once at the Chinese Embassy here in Nairobi but failed but there was no any explanation from anybody,i went back and they gave me back my passport.
From research,I am made to understand that i am on a 5 year ban,how can i change this,is it right to write to the Embassy or go there physically or through a lawyer and request for the ban to be lifted?
I am desparate coz my job is at stake here,i lied the first time,what im i going to say come September?

your help or advice will be highly appreciated
