Extend F visa if company changes?

Hey everyone,
after my current F visa was issued I changed jobs which means that I work for a different company now than the one that got me my current visa. Is it true that, since the company I currently work for is a different one than the one that originally invited me to come to China, I won't be able to extend my current visa in China?

please do not worry about that,F visa is different from Z visa,so it does not matter if you change your company,you still can extend it.

Hi there,
It doesn't matter. As long as you work with a F visa in China, you don't need to extend it as you change the company. You should do an extension before the F visa expires.
But I think maybe your new company would like to provide you a Z visa. If like this, you should convert the F visa to Z visa. You will provide some documents and it's a little troublesome. If you are confused, please ask me directly!

Well, the new company does, indeed, wnat to get me a Z visa. Besides the fact that getting some of the documents (like the health certificate) is a little annoying, my main fear about that is that I might not part from my current company on great terms, so I think they might refuse to give me that confirmation of resignation (or whatever it's called).
Any suggestions what I could do in that case?

Just read your post, there is only one thing you need to figure out, ifyour new employer can sponsor you with Z working visa. If yes, then you can prepare doc. required, if you canot get all needed, our company can help you, but u know, for Z visa application, it require 26 working days for the whole procedure, so plz prepare everything n started 20days ahead of expire date.

If you were working on an F visa it doesn't matter what terms you parted with your company on, since you aren't supposed to work on an F visa anyway so you will be keeping quiet about it.
Your Z visa application will be treated as a new application.
The health test is quite simple, you'd probably have to be dead to fail it.
